Aggregator-Collector Combos

What is an Aggregator-Collector hybrid?

An aggregator-collector (or hybrid) is an APARAVI software component that combines the functionalities of an aggregator and a collector. It is a way to streamline the components installation, as it only requires one component and one server.

The hybrid connects to the data source/sources, indexes the data, and sends the indexed data to the database for storing. It also communicates with the APARAVI platform.
