CRN’s Hottest Data Storage Startups

The end of the year is awards season in the tech industry.

The end of the year is awards season in the tech industry. We had such a flurry of recognition last year (“The 10 Hottest Cloud Computing Startups of 2018 (So Far),” “Eight data storage startup vendors to watch in 2018,” and “20 Data Storage Startups to Watch” among them) that we missed an important one: back in November, CRN magazine pegged Aparavi as one of the 10 Hottest Storage Startups of the year.

According to CRN, “Aparavi provides clients with the ability to manage unstructured data growth across on-premises and multi-cloud environments. The Santa Monica, Calif.-based company claims its SaaS-based Active Archive technology reduces secondary storage growth by up to 75 percent, which reins in both backups and secondary storage growth while scaling to petabytes of data in a pay-as-you-go fashion without vendor lock-in.”

The list, by Joseph F. Kovar, is significant because we pour a great deal of time and effort into building and nurturing our network of solution provider partners. Aparavi provides xSPs with managed retention and archive services that deliver massive value to their clients and create predictable monthly recurring revenue. If you’re a channel pro and want to expand your cloud services portfolio, and help your customers manage their data better, let’s get together.

And Joe, we sincerely apologize for not acknowledging this award sooner, and sincerely thank you.
