It should be a simple matter – the user requests you remove all their personally identifying information. And in primary storage, it might be simple. But removing this data from a backup set is definitely not simple, and probably impossible in image-based backups.

Our approach? It’s pretty simple. Enable full-text content search for specific data. Use the classification feature to identify data subject to GDPR so you can identify it and delete it.
